What you’ll do
Responsibilities vary by project, but the work is hands-on, practical, and tied directly to finished industrial systems.
• Carry projects from layout and material prep through fabrication, installation, and final completion.
• Set, position, align, and secure tanks, industrial equipment, pipe, tubing, fittings, and supports.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on fabricated assemblies, pipe, tubing, stainless steel, and precision components.
• Prepare weld joints, inspect fit-up and completed welds, and correct work to meet project requirements.
• Read drawings, organize tools and materials, troubleshoot challenges, and communicate progress with the crew.
• Load, unload, clean up, care for company vehicles and tools, and do what it takes to finish the project.
What we’re looking for
We want someone dependable, well-rounded, and willing to help with every stage of the job — not just one narrow task.
• Practical experience in pipefitting, welding, fabrication, industrial installation, or mechanical work.
• MIG and/or TIG welding experience, with stainless steel, pipe, or tubing experience preferred.
• Accurate measuring, fit-up skills, attention to detail, and pride in quality work.
• Dependable attendance, clear communication, and ability to work independently or with a crew.
• Ability to report to Hinton, Iowa, or willingness to relocate.
• Valid driver’s license, safe company truck operation, and willingness to travel until distant projects are complete.
